Here's how Reizi works.
Reizi is the name of RMC’s transportation service. Reizi is the go-to resource for parents, travelers, and caregivers who are involved in or rely on transportation on a daily basis.
Who is Reizi for?
Wmo travelers
You need transportation for a doctor’s appointment, a day program, or a visit with family. With Reizi, you can book your ride via the Reizi app, website, or by phone. You can book as early as 3 months in advance or as late as 1 hour before your trip.
What you can arrange through Reizi:
- Book or cancel a ride
- View travel budget
- View invoices
- View trips
- View the car's location
Parents or guardians of children using school transportation or transportation provided under the Youth Act
Your child travels from home to school or the youth care facility via school transportation. Using the Reizi app or the Reizi portal, you can see when the transportation will arrive, who the driver is, and report your child as sick if necessary.
What you can do with Reizi:
- View scheduled and completed trips
- Report sick leave
- View the car's location
Caregivers and informal caregivers
You are arranging transportation for someone else. You can do this through the Reizi app, the Reizi portal, or by contacting customer service. With the Reizi app, you can keep track of upcoming trips, receive notifications, and easily submit changes without having to make a phone call.
What you can arrange through Reizi:
- Book a ride or cancel a ride
- View the number of trips you have left
- View invoices
- View past and upcoming rides
- View the taxi's location
Passengers using transportation for day programs, employee shuttle services, and gym and swimming lessons should arrange their transportation through the contact person at the day program, workplace, or school.
Getting Started with Reizi
Step 1: Contact the City of Rotterdam.
You must apply for transportation through the City of Rotterdam, whether it involves school transportation, transportation under the Youth Act, or transportation under the Social Support Act (Wmo). Employees of companies providing work-related transportation, individuals participating in Wmo day programs, and students requiring transportation to gym or swimming classes should contact the relevant location or institution.
Step 2: Receive your welcome package
After successfully registering with the municipality, you will receive your welcome package.
Step 3: Download the Reizi app
In the Reizi app or on the Reizi portal, you can book rides, see where the car is, and view invoices. Here’s how to download the app.
Step 4: Log in to Reizi
To travel with Reizi, log in to the Reizi app or the Reizi portal. Wmo travelers must provide their direct debit authorization here the first time they use the service. Parents and guardians must create an account here and link their child’s information. You will then be able to view all scheduled trips and submit any changes.
